These are my newest cards. All are drawn on archival paper with permanent markers. Most of my ATCs have an envelope as well as a plastic sleeve. I love trading, that's what it is all about.
For years, many too many, I have wanted to draw. In my hometown, art in the schools was not a high priority. You can just know that girls learned to sew and cook, but draw or do art was kind of rare for any of us. So, I learned to cook and took no less than 3 years of sewing, but no art.
At last, I have undertaken the impossible. I discovered zentangle.com and have been doing my versions of zens at the rate of at least one a day, sometimes two drawings/zens.
Here are some of my first things as far as ATCs are concerned. I have a small sketch book which is getting filled up. At some point I have to learn what to do with the products of my hands and spirit.
